Johanna Lohrengel

I am a freelance illustrator and former social worker driven by questions of solidarity, connection, and cultural roots. My art tells stories of people who dare to dream, to play, and to take care of each other - against all the odds of the speed of modern living.
Pencils have been my good friends since I can remember, but I just started making my passion a profession in 2015.
My first Graphic Novel Big City Violets was published in 2016. It is the visual diary of my time as a social worker supporting women involved in Prostitution.
